A trip to the Spanish capital of Madrid – that means not just a holiday in the heart of the Iberian peninsula but also in the heart of Spain. In the fast-paced metropolis of Spanish traditions and customs are ubiquitous and determine the everyday lives of Madrilenos. But besides tapas bars, here are the royal family, art and culture at home.
